Free HPi is a simple site that scans around the net for free hpi car data checks. The site started out 2 years ago when the prices of car data checks were £37's. The industry was a complete rip off and operated a near monopoly between "HPI" and "Car Data Check" which was run by the RAC.

The industry has now lowered it's prices and you can now get a HPI / Car Data Check from as little as £5, the cheapest being from the RAC Car Data.

However we built the technology into our site to find those offering free checks. HPI, RAC, MyCarCheck and others sometimes offer free hpi checks to get you to their site. They believe that if they give you the first check "Free" then you will use them for your next check when you pay full price.

But our system doesn't care if you use them again or not, it simply finds the free data checks and posts them on this site when it locates them.
